Park Hours: Park hours can vary based on time of year, holidays and other special extra ticket events such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You can also extend your time in the Kingdom with Extra Magic Hours.

Parking: Parking is $20 per car per day. Once you park at the main lot, a tram will take you from your car to the transportation center. From the transportation center you can take the iconic monorail to the Magic Kingdom gates or you can take a relaxing ferry boat ride across Seven Seas Lagoon.

Transportation: You can ride for free throughout Walt Disney World Resort, with available transportation including buses, the iconic monorail and water taxi ferry boats. These options start about 45 minutes before the parks open and conclude an hour after the parks close. The monorail stops at Magic Kingdom, Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Polynesian Village Resort, Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and the Transportation & Ticket Center.

Magic Kingdom first opened its magical gates on October 1, 1971 – the first of Disney’s World four theme parks. Construction on Magic Kingdom began in 1967.
