We are talking concerts, festivals, adventure, and the list goes on and on. Here we share with you some ideas to get you started on your Orlando Spring Break 2020 planning:
7-DAY Orlando Spring Break Itinerary
DAY 1Start off with a colorful day at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
This renowned annual event is one of Epcot’s most popular and adored festivals. It is the perfect place to find outdoor kitchens featuring exquisite plates from all over the world and a concert series that will take you back with their amazing rock classics. As with most people, our favorite parts of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival are the topiary displays and Disney character sculptures throughout the park! This Disney festival is definitely worth checking out and is included with regular admission to Epcot.
Festival Dates: March 4 - June 1, 2020.
Location: Disney’s Epcot
DAY 2Have a blast in Orlando’s very first water theme park, Universal’s Volcano Bay!
With 19+ attractions and things to do around the park, get ready to have a fun and adventure-filled day at Universal’s Volcano Bay. From two lazy rivers to an epic aqua coaster, this water theme park includes just about every type of aquatic attraction. Not only that, you will notice a good balance of single rider attractions and group attractions, ideal for big families and all ages. And did we mention the park’s unique Tapu Tapu technology? DAY 3Race at one of the fastest indoor karting experiences in Orlando - Andretti Indoor Karting & Games
Andretti is a fun place to spend the day with your family! It includes three tracks including the world’s longest indoor track with the most elevation changes and turns. To top it all off, Andretti also has amazing arcade games, simulators, laser tag, bowling, indoor zip-line and the list goes on and on. Whether you want to race or just have fun with your loved ones, this is a great option during Spring Break.
DAY 4Disconnect from everything and just relax by the pool!
Since Orlando’s sub-tropical weather is perfect during March, it is the best time to just relax by the pool for a few hours. Some resorts, like our Westgate Town Center Resort, even have their own on-property water park. Once you are ready to move to your next activity, consider other on-property amenities such as: mini golf, paddle boats, or if you are a foodie, then dine in one of our many exquisite restaurants at the resorts.
DAY 5Visit the Wheel at ICON Park and everything I-Drive has to offer
The Wheel at ICON Park, situated along famed International Drive offers you a VIP seat to the best Orlando view you are going to find. It is safe to imagine that, after going on this 400-foot tall observation wheel, you can say you were able to view ALL of Orlando during your Spring Break vacation. All of it! Within easy walking distance, you will also find some other awesome attractions such as WonderWorks, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Pointe Orlando and much more.
DAY 6Take some Vitamin SEA at Cocoa Beach!
Can you really say you went on a Spring Break vacation without going to the Beach? I mean you can say that, but when you vacation in Orlando, you don’t have to! Only an hour away from Orlando, you will find the absolutely beautiful Cocoa Beach. Just stay there for the day, enjoy the breeze and incredible views. If you want to take your trip to the Florida east coast to the next level, consider renting a surfboard from the iconic Ron Jon’s Surf Shop, visit the popular and historic Cocoa Beach Pier or the nearby Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, only 30 mins away from Cocoa Beach.
DAY 7Listen to one of your favorite artists at Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras
If you’ve ever wanted to celebrate Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Universal Orlando Resort has the next best thing. With 13 Weekend concerts, you will have the opportunity to listen to artists such as Diana Ross, Kook & the Gang, Gavin DeGraw, Chris Young, Marshmello, the All-American Rejects and more.
