Our stay at the Westgate Hotel on March 2008 was excellent. When had two problems with room when arrived, the refrigerator was not cooling and their was a metal part of the middle of one bed sticking out but they immediately came and fixed. Everything else was super and I loved the view and the pools and the beach front and downtown and rest. and activities were in walking distanced if we wanted to walk. The staff was so pleasant and helpful and made us feel we were so important.Having a safe in the room was very nice. Beds were comfortable.The pools were heated and a joy to swim in even though it was cool.

The Kingdom across the street was not open which it was spring break and felt it should have been and no one told us that when we booked with Expedia.com nor are there any smoking rooms but you can smoke on balcony and most everywhere else in town. Going to Hard Rock cafe is a must Riply’s Aquarium.

Many years ago when my husband and I came to Westgate as referrals, one of the other owners told us that his time owned at Westgate was a forced vacation, something not so easy to put off till some tomorrow.
We have taken his advice to heart and agree that a forced vacation is a wonderful gift to our children and our extended family. Westgate is a part of our family! As always we can’t wait to use our vacation week next February. Our children love Westgate! See you soon!

As an owner we recently stayed at Westgate Lakes and an issue with the air conditioning arose. It caused a leak in our ceiling. The issue was immediately addressed and cleaned up. Westgate offered to move us and did so upon our request after our 3 bedroom also had issues because of the water leak. We were moved to an updated room over the pool and they were sure to verify we were happy with our replacement room. GREAT service!! Cleaning people were the best! Did a great job!!!

The room was great. Granite counter tops, huge upscale master bath with rain shower and bigger than most apartments. Two 32″ lcd TV’s. The kids loved the activities and the indoor and outdoor pool. They are adding a huge indoor water park and spa soon which should make this an even better resort. It is close to the new Payne Stewart golf course, shopping, shows and the water so there is something for everyone. The location was great – 10 – 15 minutes from the landing which was our favorite place to hang out in the evenings if we didn’t do a show. Overall a great experience and we stayed an extra night because of it. Very relaxing! Overall it was a great weekend get away.

Our first experience with Westgate Resorts happened in 1995 whereby we, our family, children and grandchildren, exchanged our Pennsylvania timeshare for a week at Westgate Resorts. Needless to say, we were overwhelmed with our welcome and the facilities at that time.
We found out with our many exchanges, that there are not many timeshares, if any that could compare with Westgate. Therefore, we are extremely satisfied to be permanent, proud owners with “The best of the best, WESTGATE RESORTS!

We are new owners and were thoroughly delighted with our first trip to our condo. We took our 2 yr old daughter and really appreciated having a kitchen for quick kid meals/snacks, as well as coffee and sodas handy for us. There was also a grocery store within easy walking distance and a restaurant across the street. We took the shuttle to the strip and back everyday with no problems. The grounds were exceptionally well kept and the unit was adorable and comfortable. They provided a crib for the tot and it was nice to be able to put her to bed in the bedroom and still have the living room to ourselves. The in room jacuzzi tub was wonderful too. I have to say it was a big 5 star all around!

A very pleasant surprise. This hotel is probably the only hotel in the area that I would recommend. A big modern resort style complex made for families although couples will find it fine, too. Charming and very well maintained “wood cabins”, although not completely authentic offer a big step up from other accommodations in the area. New construction and very, very clean. The cabins are nestled within the nearby mountain tree landscape. Indoor water park is on site and was great fun.

We booked a 2 bedroom condo at the Westgate. It worked out perfect. The kids had their own space and we had ours after long days at the parks. The location to Universal was fantastic as it took probably 3 minutes to get from hotel parking lot to Universal’s parking lot. A block or so off of International Drive was ideal as International Dr. was pretty crazy & congested. I would recommend this property for sure!

My wife and I stayed at the Westgate for a spur of the moment weekend getaway and were not disappointed. The room was great, the staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful, the outdoor heated pools were great, the Spa was wonderful (great deep tissue massage) and the prices at the hotel rester aunt, bar and fully stocked store were good. I would highly recommend this hotel, which has a great location (right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge) which is convenient, but off the main strips but easy to get to. We will definitely stay here our next visit to Gatlinburg!

I am very picky about where my family stays when we vacation so therefore we usually end up paying top dollar to stay in the very best resorts and hotels.
With all the great options we now have as owners, vacations are much less expensive. I know that our accommodations will always meet my expectations. I stayed one week at the Palace & the room was excellent. We first had a room with a view to the parking lot, (which made us feel like we never left New York). but after requesting a change it was done the next morning. No problems. The staff was great & the room was clean & fully equipped with everything you need. Even renting a car was easy & fast. The only thing i would change is the music they play by the pool. A little variety would be nice. Overall, it was the best vacation ever. I would definitely stay there again & recommend it to others.
Events and shows tips:
Wonder Works & the Comedy Show is a MUST SEE!!! Funny & a lot of activities & exhibits. Worth every penny….Sleuth Mystery Dinner Show is also a must see. Dinner was excellent, the shows are funny & audience interaction is also great.

I liked that the hotel was gated. They guards at the gate were very nice and friendly. Once at check-in, they called me by name when I walked up to the desk and had everything ready to go. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the grounds were well maintained. I was very pleased and will stay there again when possible.

Since we have been Westgate owners, we have enjoyed the idea that we can invite our friends to spend the week with us just like we would if we were at home in North Carolina. We like the idea to be able to eat out or cook a meal and enjoy the company of our guests in our “home away from home”. Not to mention, all the attractions in the Westgate area that lets everyone find something to make them happy during the week.

I love Westgate! I can’t stop telling people about it. I want them to experience the joy, excitement, and the relaxation of staying at Westgate. I’ve been an owner since 2007 and each year I upgraded to a new room because I fell in love with it when I took the tours. My children look forward to going to Town Center every year, and I’m glad because of all the memories we created while visiting Westgate all the years we have been going were magical. So if you never visited Westgate you should definitely put it on your bucket list.

As a 49th wedding anniversary present, I arranged a trip for my mother and father to Las Vegas. To be able to provide a beautiful, but economical (for me!) vacation for the people who gave birth to me does not begin to pay them for their years of caring for me. It certainly makes me feel a great deal of satisfaction that I bought a property that I can share with my family that offers versatility, beauty, comfort, options and as a result, a flood of memories.

Upon arriving in Orlando for our first experience as new owners of Westgate Resorts, we were delighted to see our two-bedroom condo. Westgate offered our two boys, ages 15 and 12 activities everyday. We met with a sales manager and ended up buying another week at Westgate Smoky Mountains.
My family and I had a vacation to remember. Westgate Resorts is the best!

I really loved the hotel. When we pulled up it had excellent curb side appearance. The staff was great! The commute time was excellent to Walt Disney World. The hotel even offered a shuttle, but we didn’t use it because we missed the last shuttle of the day. The food locations were right around the corner and Wal-Mart was right down the street. Everything was right there. I loved the view of the lake and the swimming pool. Gigantic jetted tub and stand up separate shower. Huge bed…everything was great.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit Thanksgiving week. We had a unit facing the pool and waterfall. It was quiet. We never heard another guest in any units. The place was immaculate. All the appliances and furnishings were in like new condition. I loved the gas fireplace to take the chill out upon returning to our unit. I honestly can’t think of one complaint. The staff was very helpful and courteous. If you do have any problem no matter how small they jump and take care of it immediately. They also have a card in the room stating that this is their policy. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is even nicer in person. We felt so comfortable here. It was only a short drive from the strip, just down the road from the Rio, Palms and Gold Coast. We had a rental car so going back and forth was no problem at all. They also have all type of on site activities, but we didn’t take advantage of any as we had so much ground to cover on the strip. Great place!

Our multi-aged, extended family stayed in a three room suite, and loved the ability to prepare meals in our full kitchen and have a living space that could accommodate all of us for games and TV watching. We ere easily able to visit the surrounding attractions in Orlando, but also enjoyed the amenities on the hotel “campus”…mini golf, swimming, canoes, and sand volleyball.

We have loved every occasion that we have visited Westgate in Orlando. My teenage children love it and always bring a guest or two with us. For the past three years we have brought friends with us to share our vacations. Everyone has been impressed with the luxury of the rooms and the convience to Disney and other places. We were in the mindset of a nice regular hotel room for the price. We got in and got way more than I expected for the price. It was a one bedroom condo. It had an in-room Jacuzzi, a fireplace, a full kitchen with all the supplies included.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel we stayed in 2008. Using our GPS we easily found this hotel. Greeted by a staff of pleasant people. As we got to our room , I immediately notice the clean carpet in the hallway, our room was very clean and was well equipped with nice and essential amenities such as a refrigerator,microwave,washer and dryer(yes you heard me…washer and dryer)And we even got to use the pool all by ourselves.(In the morning guest are usually at Busch Gardens).

The hotel rooms have it all. A microwave,refrigerator,toaster,plates,washer and dryer. So , bring frozen food and you can save a lot of money by eating what you brought since it can be expensive eating out for all three meals.

We loved this hotel! It was beautiful and the rooms were above our expectations…it was like you weren’t even in a hotel room. We stayed in the one bedroom deluxe and it was just awesome! We still can’t believe how nice it was for the price we paid. We had a small problem with a couple of wasps on our balcony but I called the service desk and they had someone there in less than 5 minutes! The people were great, the location was great, and we will definitely stay there again!

I visited last week with my two teenage grandsons and we loved our unit, couldn’t have been happier. They wanted to live there. It was immaculate, view of the lake right behind us. We didn’t get on each others nerves because we had so much space, big rooms, screened in porch. All the air conditioning units (12) were located right next to the window of my bedroom. Soundproofing was good in bedroom but quite noisey on screened in porch. They did a good job of hiding them behind shrubs. The pools were close and big, though they couldn’t do everything they liked in the pools. Not crowded. Everybody we dealt with was nice. My only wish was an airport shuttle and more choices of times to the theme parks. We didn’t rent a car and that meant taxis and shuttles, taxis and tips. You can waste so much time waiting, and waiting. I would go back but next time will rent a car.

Everything was amazing and convenient. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They had a lot of on site activities for the kids and eight pools to choose from. We had previously stayed at Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort in 2009 and knew that we would be back. The location is great because you are not in the noisy town area but only 2 miles from Gatlinburg and 3 miles from Pigeon Forge. You could actually stay there and never leave. There is the pool, water park, playground onsite. They have the restaurant and convenience store onsite also. We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo and took food to cook and make sandwiches since you have a fully equipped kitchen. That helps with expenses! And we will keep going back!

When we were on vacation, we took our 12-year-old daughter and a friend. We spent 3 or 4 days hitting the theme parks pretty hard. On Wednesday, our daughter said, “You know, I’d just like to stay here today to enjoy this fun place.”
We had one of the nicer days on our trip swimming, paddle boating, and eating pizza and never left Westgate. It was like having a vacation in the midst of a vacation.

My husband and I will never forget our week in Orlando. One of the best vacations ever. We were surrounded with everything we need. Walmart was very close, activities for every member of the family, the steakhouse was awesome. The rooms, the service was spectacular, looking forward to 2012 vacation. I really cannot tell you enough about Westgate … it is just a vacation destination that you have to experience. Make the trip – it will be worth your while. By the way, the Spa experience was breathtaking.

The Westgate is a great family resort. My family and I had a great vacation there on Aug, 2009. The service and staff were absolutely wonderful. I could not have asked for better service and hospitality. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. There were activities at the hotel everyday for everyone in the family. There is a restaurant in the hotel and a poolside bar. The food was excellent. We had an oceanfront room with a balcony and the location and view was wonderful. The hotel is in a great location and close to all the attractions. We had a wonderful vacation and I would definitely stay at the Westgate again.

I loved this hotel! I loved the service and everyone was very. very friendly. We were driven to our lodge by a very wonderful attendant named Shorty who was very comical, professional, and informative about the hotel, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge! Any question or requests we had (which were very few) was attended to with prompt, courteous professionalism. Every premise on the hotel was clean and very well taken care of. The water park area was family friendly and had plenty of life guards. They had something for everyone to enjoy no matter if you had limitations or not. I think I have found my new home away from home in Gatlinburg!

I was very pleased with my stay at the Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa. I was very please with the room selection. The price was excellent for the accommodations! The resort was centrally located to all main attractions. I couldn’t be more pleased with my stay. I will definitely go back again and would recommend to others.

Purchased a stay at this hotel for my daughter and her friend. They were having their prom at one of the Disney Resorts. This was perfect for them close to where they would be going on 5 miles. After seeing the room I was actually jealous what a great room I wanted to stay myself. The staff was very helpful. The entire property was overwhelming because it was so big but the staff was right there to take you to your room. My daughter enjoyed it a lot great memory. Resort is very close to Disney!

I was looking for a one night stay in Gatlinburg for a quick get a way. I found a good rate on this room and took it. I honestly didn’t look much at the reviews, just seen the star rating. Once I got there it was so nice I dug through my papers to find the hotel price again, because it didn’t seem right for the room to be so cheap and the place to be so nice. I had no idea it was there even though I had been to Gatlinburg many times. We were on the top of the mountain and we could see everything. The fireplace was awesome and it was the best bed I had ever slept in EVER in a hotel. It did take a while to check in, but they were busy and it was Labor Day. We were escorted to the room, and the express check out feature was really nice. I had no idea there was a indoor water park there (of course, it was extra-but I got a great deal on the room!) But there where 2 free pools and a super nice play area for the kids, grills and shuttle service! I will be looking this place up again for another-hopefully longer stay.

I have had the opportunity to share my experience at Westgate Resorts with some dear friends and their daughters. I must say that I was pleased with the way we enjoyed our vacation. We didn’t even want to go back home! The customer service was excellent.

Gorgeous room complete with whirlpool and fireplace. Made my wife’s birthday something to remember. We will definitely come again as the hotel is exceptionally close to all historical sites which were well within walking distance.
Traveler’s tip:
Be sure to try the King’s Arms Tavern for dinner. Very pricey but well worth it for the pampering and fine food and service.

Wow, what an amazing place!!! This hotel property on the mountain was grandiose and spectacular in every sense of the word. It exceeded my every expectation. You are welcomed with an entrance lit like an elegant amusement park. There was a huge indoor facility with a heated pool, slide and play area that is perfect for kids. The cabins/rooms were huge but very cozy. It was decorated very tastefully with modern log cabin-esque sophistication. It is a home away from home. The room was equipped with everything you need for a long stay too…dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, 2 TVs, leather sofa, vanity area, etc… All the rooms are immaculate in cleanliness, presentation and with great attention to detail. I ate at the hotel restaurant twice. I truly expected the hotel food to be overpriced with small portions but it wasn’t at all. The quality of the food and service was excellent. The pricing was very, very, affordable. I highly recommend this place. The hotel is on a mountain with great views too. It is a few minutes away in car from major points of interest. This new hotel is way more than I expected for the rate I paid. I was very impressed and wish I had stayed longer.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Vegas August, 2011. The property was so peaceful and serene. They provided a shuttle to/from the strip I thought was very accommodating and convenient. I would recommend staying at one of there properties to all my family and friends.

My husband and I were only there for 2 nights and loved it so much that we purchased a timeshare! There were several pools (we even got a pool and jetted to ourselves both nights) and plenty of activities to do throughout the day…conveniently located between Disney and Universal.

My husband and I with our 3 kids love staying at Westgate. There is so much to do on the resort and it is right next to everything. Getting extra towels was something that we had to continue to call down for because we were always in the pool. If you have kids you will love your stay here. We were next to a Wal-Mart, down the street from a mall and every attraction in Orlando. There is a pizza hut and steakhouse on the resort and every type of restaurant within 5 miles. Every time we visit Orlando we plan on staying here.

This was our second time staying at a Westgate property in Orlando. Our most recent stay was just as wonderful as the first. The accommodations are spacious and allow room for a large family. I can’t imagine staying in a hotel room with 3 teenagers ever again. Even though we are not owners I will continue to stay at a Westgate property whenever available when traveling. The price is definitely worth it. Staff members are extremely nice and helpful. My kids also had the opportunity to meet other teenagers from around the country and still communicate with them via texting and Facebook. My 18 year old son told me that it was the best vacation ever and also included that he wasn’t just saying it to make me feel good. He insist that we return next year at the same time so he can see the friends that he met this year.

OMG! I can’t wait to go back. Aside from the resort being a five star in my book, the staff at the resort is five star as well. I cannot say that the accomodations were good. I would have to say that they were outstanding. I have been an owner for four years and of all of the Westgate properties, this happens to be my favorite. Looking forward to going back. I recommend it highly.

This was our second stay at the Westgate and we were very satisfied. We stayed in the motel section in a room with two queen beds. It was a typical motel room with a refrigerator and microwave. The room was not large but it worked well for us. The best thing about the room was the pricing we received! We are not into the luxurious accommodations and would rather save the cash for shopping or seeing a show. The room was just fine and it was clean and well maintained. For us we were totally satisfied with the room!
The grounds of this facility are simply awesome! There is both an indoor pool and outdoor pool. There are two hot tubs at the outside pool. We used both the indoor pool and the hot tubs and had a great time! I have stayed at many places and this property is one of the best ever. There are many things you can do and participate in if you wish. There is a nice game room and pizza place in the recreation center. There are numerous outdoor facilities you may use as well.
I can assure you without a doubt that you can have a great time at the Westgate Branson Resort for a minimal amount of money if you choose. I doubt if you can beat the rates here! The villas and condos will set you back a few more dollars and they are very nice as well. For us the motel room serves our purposes!
For the price I recommend you try it and see how you feel. What do you have to lose? I know we will be back!

My Husband and I just returned from a week at the Westgate Resort in South Miami Beach, Florida. The one bedroom apartment was splendidly appointed with an Art Deco feel. Our room looked out directly onto the Atlantic Ocean and what a view it was. There was a beautiful white sandy beach with staff ready to wait on you hand and foot. Each staff member was so nice and friendly, we felt like we were with family. We are members at the Branson Resort but like how we can use our week at any resort and feel so welcome where ever we go. This was a great investment for us and we look forward to many happy stays.
