Florida Strawberry FestivalStrawberry season is just around the corner in central Florida and that means plenty of fun at the annual Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City. The popular event kicks off Feb. 27 and runs through March 9, 2014.

In addition to fresh-picked berries, strawberry lovers can enjoy midway rides and games, a kiddie korral, craft village, entertainment and live concerts daily.

The Florida Strawberry Festival, an annual rite of spring since the first festival in 1930, runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Tickets are $10 per day at the gate for adults and $5 for children aged 6-10. Children 5 and under are free.
