No matter what you do on your Disney vacation, you are bound to have a good time. But, that does not mean that you shouldn’t plan your days so that you get to do and see as much as possible.
The first step to planning your Disney vacation is to research each theme park and see which one(s) interest your family the most. With special deals from Disney World, you can often get tickets that allow you into one park per day or you can purchase a park hopper, which allows you to switch form one park to another during the day.
This is typically helpful if no one can agree on where they would like to go and what they would like to do since it allows them go to at least one park each day without spending all of their money on theme park tickets.
In addition to planning which parks you want to visit on your Disney vacation, you also need to plan where you want to stay. In Orlando, you have a number of options, which range from staying inside Disney World property to staying in Orlando and taking a shuttle or your own vehicle to the theme park each day.
While staying outside Disney World can provide some economic relief related to your vacation, there are several reasonably priced resorts and hotels located inside the park. When you go to Orlando just for a Disney vacation, half of the fun is waking up inside the park, walking outside your hotel, and starting your day immediately.
Online, Disney World even has a feature that allows you to plan your Disney vacation. They have a free planning DVD, an interactive map, and other services which can help you price, plan, and purchase your Disney vacation.
